Drake Cameron Mills

Drake Cameron Mills was born December 21, 2009. He came a bit early like my others. I was really hoping for December 26th but this turned out even better. He came early enough I was still able to come home December 23rd and be home for Christmas. It was so fun to be able to show him off to all the family that was in town for the holidays. It was also really nice to have all the family there to help with my other kids. Thank you! He was 6 pounds and 2 ounces and was 20 inches long. I got 2 days to just cuddle him in the hospital while everyone was running around getting ready for Christmas. Sadly the kids weren't allowed in the hospital (noone under 12 years old) so they didn't get to meet him until the 23rd. He came late the night of the 21st- 11:01pm. I had contractions all day and pretty much knew he was coming soon but my contractions were irregular and not too painful. When they became more regular I went in to get checked and they suggested I walk around which I was not excited about doing. So I left and said I would come back when they got stronger- I should have stayed! I swear the minute I left they became really painful. But I ran and picked Devri up from gymnastics and got home for 10 minutes before I told Cameron lets go! I really didn't want to miss my epidural this time and lucky me I didn't! It was bliss!

My family was driving to AZ late that night so they got to meet him the next day.

Mills Christmas and catchup

I had to hurry and catch up so I could post on our most exciting news- so I did a lot of posts today. The night before Drake was born we had our Mills Christmas party. The kids had fun decorating cookies and opening their gifts and just playing together. Some of the Mills cousins

Decorating the cookies

My girls playing with Jeanna

Daxton excited to open his gifts

Grandma Mills got Danika a cute rocking bug. She likes that it sings too

Christmastime

We had different fun events throughout the month.

Devri had her dance recital at Glendale Glitters- I loved their cute little costumes and she had so much fun. It wasn't as cold and traumatic this year! (last year is when we lost Daxton)

Mrs. Rachel and Devri

Devri and her friend Isabella

Watching the show- Grandma and Grandpa Mills came too

Daxton had his preschool program. He was a shephard and such a cute one.

He sang his little heart out- it was a very cute program

They had refreshmants afterward

Daxton and Ms. Stacy
Daxton and Ms. Anita

Devri also had her school program

They are supposed to put a bubble in their mouth so as to not make a noise. She makes a good bubble!

Devri and Ms. Kelly

Some random shots - trying to get a Christmas card of them

My kids being silly before the Ward Christmas party

There was no fooling Devri that this wasnt the real Santa- she said she knows who he is - he goes to our church! haha!

My attempt to get Danika's picture alone

I think Cameron was over helping my parents with something with their house and missed the party?!

Daxton's last soccer game

Well of the season. He was SO excited for the trophy and is still so proud of it!

We did much better with melt downs but still had one the last game- he would get so frustrated if he took the ball down the field but didn't get to kick it in.

Thanksgiving Break

Cameron had 2 (I think I can say) unsuccessful hunts during Thanksgiving break. Devri was out of school the whole week so after staying home a few days we decided on Thanksgiving to head over to meet my parents in CA. They were over there for Keaton's tennis tournament and visiting Kelsi. We made it over to Disneyland to see it decorated for Christmas and do the Christmasy things.

And of course our first visit to Santa- which was fun to start of the Christmas season.

and Mrs. Claus too

My kids really wanted to color at Disneyland over in Reindeer roundup- they asked to do this! We color lots at home- I have no idea why it is more fun at Disneyland!

For the debut of Princess and the Frog- they had a little parade on the showboat. It was really cute!! The songs in that movie are so catchy.

Feeding the ducks and locking down our seats for the parade.

We went to the movies one night- the Fantastic Mr. Fox! It was so horrible and not really for my little ones- Devri still seemed to be laughing but Danika had no interest and it was weird to me too!

But arcades are alwasy fun at the theaters.

We went to Sea World the day after Thanksgiving- it was more crowded than I have ever seen! Not the best day to go- plus a little cold that day. Kelsi and her boyfriend Cody joined us too. Keaton and my dad were still back at the tournament.

Touching the stingray

A little too bright for my kiddos- haha!

Thanksgiving morning before I headed to California and Cameron headed out for his elk hunt. Cameron and I took the kids to an early movie- we went and saw Astroboy.

Daxton had his preschool Thanksgiving feast and he loved! this cute hat he got to wear.

So since Cam was gone and Dev out of school- we hit the Wildlife Zoo one day then the Phoenix Zoo the other day.

I love how concerned Danika looks here.

My kids loved that they could milk the cow over at the petting zoo.

Aunt Melissa joined us at the Phoenix Zoo

It was the cute primary program at our ward the week before Thanksgiving. So since Cam was gone on his deer hunt- we had extra time at home- so I decided to try Danika's hair in curlers for the first time (I think?) it turned out very cute!

Halloween- finally!

I am so far behind on blogging and everytime I try to catch up I get distracted- this post has taken me all day!
It was so fun to have Halloween fall on a Saturday! I put off most the fun stuff for the actual day. We didn't even decorate pumpkins til that day! The Perry's came over for the day to play. We made/decorated cookies.
Made sucker ghosts and had dinner
Daxton being crazy!
Devri and Kallie still wanted hearts for cookies and Mickey Mouse heads- not just the Halloween cookie cutters
Braden and Dax frosting away
These kids have so much fun together!
Danika with her chili face!
Kira and Cam- or as they call him Uncle Cameron! Even though I am just Tiffani- no aunt!- haha
Kira, Kallie and Bay
The Perry clan- in their Alice in Wonderland theme! What a cute bunch!
Devri andKallie
Me and my kiddos. Cam stayed back to hand out candy. Lauri and I headed out to trick or treat
Kallie and Devri
Daxton and Brig
Doesn't he make a cute Sebastian!
Dax and Kallie

All the kiddos out trick or treating- looks like a ton of kids in this picture! It take us over an hour to get around the block! But it was still lots of candy-plenty! and they were worn out ready to hand out candy- the real fun! Thanks for coming to play Perrys!

Lauri and I. Have I said how comfy my costume was! Perfect little bubble for a prego person!

Ward Trunk or Treat

I love that our ward does their Trunk or Treat on a seperate day from Halloween- gives more Halloween fun! & I love Halloween. I know I got more pictures- just a few more but I can't find them on my computer! My camera was blinking the whole time like the battery was dying so this is all I got!
At least we got one with the family! Cameron didn't dress up on Halloween since he was just home handing out candy- he didn't want to get the whole get up on. So here is our family in our Little Mermaid themed costumes. Cute Danika as Flounder- a little boyish- but she had to match the family!

Daxton's Fall Festival

Daxton's preschool had an Orange Fall Festival instead of dressing up for Halloween. I think Daxton loved spraying his hair orange as much as getting dressed up anyway! One of his friends did too- he was excited!
They partied the entire class- all orange foods, decorating pumpkins, treats!

Earlier that week he wanted to pose for a picture too- since I was taking Devri's everyday with her themed week
Seriously where do they learn this?
Had to add a cute one of Dani!

Health Awareness Week

Devri's school celebrated Health Awareness week with dress down ( not in uniform) themed days.
Fitness Attire Day:
Sports Day:- we didn't have any jersey's or sports team shirts so we went with cheerleading!
Fitness Frenzy: They had a field day where they participated in lots of sports activities. They were supposed to wear their spirit shirts and fitness bottoms but it was NOT worth the fight and we went with the skort! Haha
So proud of Devri! She won a medal for most sit-ups!!
Favorite Fruit or Veggie Day:
Drug Free Day:- everyone was supposed to wear Red!
Lauri and I decided to head over for the assembly that afternoon. They were letting off red balloons in a pledge to stay drug free. When we got there, they were dancing away to music. Cute!
I got Daxton, Danika and I all in red for the occasion too! They had extra balloons for siblings that came.

Kallie and Devri with a friend
& off go the balloons!
Devri was so excited!

Lined up ready to go back into class.

Daxton Soccer

Daxton started on his little NYS soccer league. He is really getting the hang of it now. He has scored multiple times in the last few games. Pink cheeks
He loves it!

Talking with coach
Getting some coaching from dad too
This little girl Emma who he already knew is on his team. She has an older brother who went to Devri's preschool so they used to play before and after at the preschool
Daxton before his first game!
Cute little uniforms that have their names on them

The first game was so cute because Daxton was so frustrated! After every play he would come out to whine if he didn't get to kick the ball! Then as he was whining the whistle would blow and he would have to run catch up and then play over- repeat, repeat!! He was so frustrated! But he has improved so much now and rarely ( not NEVER) but rarely throws a fit now.

Brig's 4th Birthday

Brigham Perry turned 4. We are so excited they live here in Arizona and we can celebrate with them. Lauri had a cute pumpkin themed party up at Anthem Adventure Park. Birthday boy!
Daxton just loves having him live close by!

Devri and Kallie
Lauri doing her pumpkin treats! The kids scored!
The favorite was by far the teeth!
Cute scary boys!
They have a fun little train up there! Very cute park
Danika loving her sucker- boy she was messy this day!
Aunt Kiana and Grandma Cullimore got to come too since they were in town! I didn't get any pictures of Grandma- she was too busy talking to Rita (Lauri's mom- who also was in town)
Kira, Kallie and Devri
Danika is growing up so fast- she looks so old here!
My kids are of course hovering as Brig opens his presents

Disneyland with the Mills

The weekend after we got back from Disneyworld- we headed off to Disneyland with Cameron's family. It actually worked out really good because Devri was out of school and it was a good weekend.

Disneyland looked so cute all decorated for Halloween.
Grandma Karen was really excited about getting this picture for Daxton. She heard they do "magic shots" where they put in a character. When she heard you could do fighting Captain Hook- she just had to get it for Daxton. It was getting dark when we did it so the photographer warned us it may be blurry but it was our last day/last chance.
Alexa, Hayley, Meredith, Devri and Christine
Meredith and Devri- all in Halloween attire
Danika and I
Daxton and Cameron
Cute picture of girl cousins in their matching outfits watching the ducks

Daxton and Molly at the Halloween Roundup. We came to look at things while the bigger kids were on Thunder Mountain.
Danika was pretty attached to her binky this trip- I kept trying to take it out- but no way!
Cute little picture of Daxton and Molly
In the teacup!

It was Christine's birthday!! She got cake- Daxton was very intensely into this and wanted some!

Daxton is a little climber! He was all over the place in the Toontown playground!

Disneyland day 2

Meredith and Devri were so excited to dress up as princesses for the day.
Morgan and Lydia took us out to breakfast at Storyteller's Cafe- the kids love character breakfasts

Meredith with her crown on now! Such a princess!

Devri, Meredith and Hayley got to participate in the HSM3 parade
